What I Packed for a Weekend Getaway to Miami!

Super excited to get away this weekend. Even though it’s a short trip, (Friday to Sunday) it will be well worth it. One of my bestie’s from college is getting married and it’s time to celebrate with all my Towson girls in Miami, FL at the Fontainebleau! #fancy We are doing it right…okay!!! 🙂 Since this is a short trip and I will only be in the sun for two days, I made sure I used my Saint Tropez Self Tan Classic Bronzing Mousse all over my body. It is by far the best self tanner I have ever used! Please make sure you purchase the Tan Applicator Mitt so it doesn’t leave your hands looking like an oompa loompa’s. So now that I have my nails did (Bright Miami PINK – If that’s not an Essie or OPI color yet, it def should be), my body waxed, fake tan on…it’s time to pack!
WHAT I PACKED FOR MIAMI:
All Black Outfit – Going out outfit numero uno. I am obsessed with this mesh polka dot top from Nasty Gal. You can pair it with a leather skirt or black jeans. It’s a perfect outfit if you’re going on a bachelorette trip since the bride is usually wearing white one night, you will compliment her perfectly in this little black number!

Workout Clothes – I know I am only in Miami for two days, but you never know when you might get that urge to wake up really early in the AM for a run on the beach. Plus, workout clothes are comfy!
Three Bathing Suites – I love this black one piece that I can pair with high waisted jean shorts. I am also bringing two other bikinis because…why not?

Sandals, Wedges & Heels OH MY! – I am bringing sandals for the pool/beach and heels to wear at night. My wedges I will wear to the pool party during the day. Since I am petite, I feel more comfortable in high wedges or heels so I NEVER leave home without them!
Jean Shorts – High waisted jean shorts are a must. No explanation needed.

Summer Dress/Set – I’ll wear one of my Spring/Summer dresses on Saturday night. I will probably be feeling the burn from the sun and will want to wear something frilly and cute, but cool.
Side Note: I am also bringing sunglasses, loads of sunscreen, tanning oil, lotion, makeup, an emergency kit (better safe than sorry) and all other essentials in my toiletry bag.Â
