My Hair Routine
My hair is so fried from dying it (want-to-be blonde) so I have been using some amazing products to repair it and help it grow. Below I have linked the products I’ve been using for my hair as well as a DIY hair mask you can use once a week. Enjoy loves!
- TRESemme Repair + Protect Shampoo & Conditioner– This shampoo and conditioner makes your hair so soft. I love it! It has biotin in it which helps hair growth and also repairs 7 types of damage in just one use (blow drying, flat ironing, coloring, curling, bleaching, brushing, and braiding).
- Sugar Bear Hair – Okay, I know you have seen just about EVERY blogger and social media influencer posting about these blue sugar bears claiming stronger healthier hair. So of course, I had to order them and try them for myself. I have been using them for about a week and I have already noticed a big difference. *insert choir singing ‘Hallelujah’* My hair just feels healthier and I think it’s growing! AMEN! These little gummy vitamins also taste amazing which is a huge plus. You are only supposed to have two daily, but seriously they taste like the best candy gummy bears you’ve ever had…two is just not fair. 🙁 Try them…trust me, you will not regret it!
- Moroccanoil Treatment – After every shower and before I blow dry my hair, I put a dime size potion of Moroccanoil Treatment on my hair, especially on the ends. It smells amazing too!
DIY HAIR MASK
You can try this DIY mask once or twice a week depending on how damaged your hair is. If your hair is really fried, try it three times a week until you see a difference in hair repair and growth.
What You Will Need:
- 2tbsp Castor Oil
- 2tbsp Coconut Oil
- Shower Cap
Mix equal parts castor oil and coconut oil. The amount depends on your hair length. For longer hair, use 4 tbsp of castor oil and coconut oil. Put the mixture into the microwave for 20 seconds. Make sure it is warm and not hot. Pour the warm mixture on your hair working it all the way to the ends. Put your hair in a shower cap and leave the mixture in over night. I know, who wants to do that, right? Trust me, your hair will thank you. In the morning, it is safe to shower with shampoo at least twice to get the oils out. You’re hair will feel healthier!
